2007年にタイで発見された新種の昆虫に多くの人が驚いた。まるで自然界に存在する生物とは思えないほどに鮮やかなピンク色をしたヤスデだったからだ。自然界では目立ちすぎるピンク色をしている理由等の詳細は今もわかっていない不思議な生物である。
